Help: Bebo Dating

Bebo Dating is separate from the rest of your profile, and joining is entirely optional.

Setting up

Open Dating from Discover, choose Set up, and pick your photos, a short introduction, and what you are looking for. Your dating profile is only shown to other people who have also joined dating — nobody browsing Bebo normally will see it.

Browsing and liking

You are shown suggestions one at a time with a compatibility score based on shared interests, location and activity. Like, pass, or send a super like when you really mean it. Rewind undoes an accidental pass.

Matches

When two people like each other it becomes a match, and you are notified. Selecting the notification opens that match directly. From there you can start an icebreaker, add each other as buddies, and continue in ordinary Bebo messages if you prefer.

Likes you

The likes you view lists people who have already liked you, so you can decide quickly rather than searching for them.

Staying safe

Take your time before sharing personal details, and keep the conversation on Bebo until you are comfortable.

Meet in a public place the first time, and tell someone where you are going.

Never send money, gift cards or account details to anyone you have met online, however plausible the reason.

Report and block anyone who pressures you, asks for money, or refuses a video call while claiming to be someone specific.

Leaving dating

You can hide your dating profile or delete it entirely from the dating settings. Deleting removes your dating photos, likes and matches, and does not affect the rest of your Bebo account.
